MLM Empire

Training

When it comes to building your own MLM Empire, you have to start with the basics. You need to start with one thing and get that going, then move on to the next. For example, I will focus on my Xedia Technologies business, but while I'm doing that, I might add some affiliate products to the emails I send out to my prospects for my primary business. Once I have gotten my Xedia Business off and running, generating an income. That's when I might look into either another product, affiliate product, or business opportunity that I think would go well with what I am already doing. The majority of business I promote go very well with eachother.

So let's get into how to promote your primary business using paid and Free techniques.

Domain Names

I recommend that you purchase a Domain name for many reasons. The reason for getting a domain name is, it makes you and your site look more professional. Whenever someone gives my their business card with there affiliate name or number after their company name like: www.CompanyName.com/7485932. To me that screams amateur! And it will say the same thing to all your prospects. People aren’t going to remember your affiliate number or username. They will type in www.Companyname.com and leave out your username, meaning you just lost out on that sale!

Instead of you giving someone your site address that looks like this: www.myxedia.com/yourusername

You can have something like: www.XediaLiving.com or www.XTechLiving.com which is much for easier for that person to remember as well as it looks much more professional. You can purchase domain names from companies like: www.GoDaddy.com

They usually cost around 8 or 9 dollars. (As of the time of this writing there are some legal issues concerning using domain names with the word Xedia Technologies in it. Find out more before buying your domain name.)

Remember when it comes to choosing a domain name, keep it:

-Easy to Remember.

-Easy to Spell.

-Something that looks Professional.

-And preferably you want a name that describes the business you are promoting. You wouldn’t want, www.LibertyNutrients.com for your Xedia Technologies business. It just wouldn’t make sense. Because that Domain name would make someone believe I’m selling nutrients and that’s not a good thing if I’m selling Technology!

As far as hosting goes. Email us and will let you know names of different hosting companies.

Google AdWords

Google Adwords is a "Pay-per-click form of advertising. You will need to set up an account with Google in their advertising section. You choose how much money you want to spend per month and per click, you set the limit. In setting up your campains, it is smart to use some kind of keyword program, like:

http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/

These will help you find out what words are being searched for the most in search engines. By know this, you can ad the right keywords that are relevent to you ad. You can also do split testing with your campains. Google can be hard if you don't know what you are doing, but can be great when you do. Google will even reward those who put up good ads by charging them less per click. But, if Google doesn't like you, they will charge you more per click.

* It's important to make sure your ad and the page your are sending them to are relevent. Google looks for and rewards relevent ads.

It is very important to know what you are doing with Google Adwords. I recommend you get Perry Marshall's "The Definitive Guide to Google AdWords." at:
www.PerryMarshall.com
You can also sign up for a
Free "Guerrilla Marketing" CD.

Another program that is great if you are trying to get your site in the Organic search engines (Not Google ads, but the content that is on the left site in a search engine. Which is free by the way.) There is a great program called: SEO Elite. It will show you how the top sites got their position in the organic searches. This software will save you a TON of time.

Copywriting

Copywriting is not something most MLMers think about and it’s not something the MLM companies tell their distributors about. But, if you want to stand out from the crowd and do things the right way for long term success, then you will want to learn about copywriting.

Copywriting is known as the “Million Dollar Skill” it’s what separates the men from the boys. It’s amazing how wording will effect your sales. Writing good copy is a must for any professional who is taking their MLM Empire building seriously. This is a skill that doesn’t always come natural to everyone, but you can learn. There are many very good courses on Copywriting and after taking the time into learning this skill, you be able to write killer copy that will have people begging for your product.

Some people think writing good copy means exaggerating the truth, or just plain lies. Well, if that was the case, there would be nothing long term about that product or business. Long term businesses do not succeed built on lies. It’s taking the truth, presenting in a way that brings value to the customer or prospect. It’s bring a solution to someone’s problem. It’s giving the reading good content which will position you as an expert. The end result will be them trusting you and wanting what you are offering. You owe yourself and your business to take the time and learn this very valuable skill.

Some courses that I recommend are:

Recruiting with Words - By Mike Dillard

Ultimate Copywriting Workshop - By Yanik Silver

If you can't wait to learn this skill you can alway hire someone to do it for you. You can also check out these pre-written sales letters and autoresponder messages done by professional copywriters.
